MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT BY THE USER
OIL MAINTENANCE
CAUTION
1) Refer the hour meter on the control panel, to know the period for inspection, replacement and filling up the
oil.
2) Oil is filled up when it is shipped from factory. Before the first use of this machine, make sure if oil level is OK.
3) Regularly replace the oil in order to keep the machine in best condition.
4) Before to inpsect/replace the oil, place the machine on flat and spacious area. Stop the engine to leave the
machine to be cooled down for more than 5 minutes to be able to touch by hand.
In case maintenance is started just after engine is stopped,
-Engine is still too hot and it may cause burn.
-Correct oil volume is not indicated just after engine is stopped, becaseu oil still remain in each part of machine
5) For safety, remove the key during the maintenance operation.
TRANSMISSION (GEAR) OIL
Inpsection and filling up
It is possible to inspect the oil by removing the transmission plug behind
the transmission. If oil reach the lowest level of the plug, proper volume
is filled.
Replacement
1) Oil should be replaced at first 20 hours, and later at each 100
hours or every year whichever comes first. Prepare oil container and
remove the drain plug located in left side of transmission case.
Replacement guideline
First : at 20 hours
Later : at each 100 hours or 1 year whichever comes first
2) Place the drain plug in original position. Remove the transmission
plug and then put transmission oil.
Recommeneded oil : “SAE 90 “or “API GL-5“.
Oil quantity : 1.00L.
After the oil is filled, tighten the transmission plug securely to avoid the leak. Pay attention not to tighten the plug
too much. When the gasket(O ring) contact the position, turn the plug in 3/4 rotation to fix it.
ENGINE OIL
CAUTION
Excess or deficiency of engine oil will cause engine trouble. Add engine oil in case of deficiency and reduce it in
case of excess to maintain proper volume.
