Adjust the gap between belt holder of engine pulley and back of best to
be 4-5mm.
OFFSET BELT ADJUSTMENT
Refer to figure(left) and adjust the nut.
1) If tension is not enough,
-adjust the nut toward A.
2) If tension is too much,
-Adjust the nut toward B.
Normally, length of tension spring is about 60mm(free length of
spring is 52mm).
Take same way to adjust offset belt in right and left.
BLADE BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
1) Blade stops in 5 seconds when the brake clutch lever is moved
to OFF( ) position. If not, loosen the lock nut and adjust it by mov-
ing the adjust nut of brake wire in direction of arrow. Wrong adjust-
ment may lead to machine trouble. After the adjustment, securely
tighten the lock nut.
2) If it is not possible to make adjustment, brake shoe may be worn
out. Contact your nearest dealer for inspection and replacement.
