    What to do if Oreck STEAM-IT STEAM100 emits no steam?

      If no steam is emitted when your Oreck Steam Cleaner is on, the water tank may be empty, so fill the water tank. Another possible cause is that the steam switch is not activated properly, despite the green light. In this case, press down the steam switch fully. Also, the weighted tube inside the tank may not be in the correct (immersed) position; try shaking the steam cleaner gently. If the power cable is damaged you should contact Oreck for service. In case the steam nozzle is blocked see 'Unblocking the Steam Outlet'.

      If only a very small amount of steam flows out of your Oreck Steam Cleaner, the steam regulator may be set to minimum. Turn the steam controller until sufficient steam is emitted.

      If your Oreck Steam Cleaner has no power, first, check the socket by unplugging the steam cleaner and plugging in a different appliance to ensure the socket is working. Also, make sure the steam cleaner is properly plugged into an electrical outlet and is switched on.
