Then start the Arc T est by pressing the key. The process is as
follows:
a. The splicer puts the two fibers end profile s to the screen
center automatically and accomplishes gap setting and
aligning.
b. An electric al arc is produced by electrodes. Two fiber end
profile s are fused into ball shape.
c. The location of electrodes can be calculated according to the
change of fiber's shape, and displays the following
information .
If the electrode's position is on the left, the screen displays " Gap
XXX T o R XX X ".
If the electrode's position is to the right, the screen displays " Gap
XXX T o L XX X ".
