Stowing the 5-point seat belt away for size range 100–150 cm
• Open the seat cover on the back of the child car seat and unthread the shoulder pads from
their hooks (Fig. A). Open the shoulder pads by their press studs so that you can completely
remove the shoulder pads from the child seat (Fig. B).
• Loosen the harness system to the maximum length.
• Open the cover in the back area using its snap buttons and fold it away. Also fold the lower part
of the headrest cover to the side (Fig. C).
• Open the harness system and bring the shoulder straps behind the cover.
• Carefully pull off the cover in the seat area so that you can pass the seat belt buckle through
the opening in the seat cover.
• Remove the green lap belt hook from the recess in the seat area (Fig. D).
• Insert the belt buckle tongues into the belt buckle and thread the fastening strap from the belt
buckle through the slot towards the recess (Fig. E).
• Fold the belt buckle’s fastening strap together with the metal clip and place it in the recess in
the seat area (Fig. F).
• Then fi rst thread the metal clip of the green lap belt hook into the slot from which you previous-
ly unthreaded the belt buckle (Fig. G). Make sure that the metal clip is properly threaded and
that the fastening strap of the green lap belt hook exits the slot properly (Fig. H).
• Guide the green lap belt hook through the slot in the cover.
• Put the cover back over the seat area, making sure that the cover is in its slot.
• Fold back the lower part of the headrest cover and fold up the backrest cover again and close
it with its press studs.
• Keep the removed pads in a safe place for later use.
