Measuring blood pressure with pulse rate
• Press the [ ] ‘ON/OFF’ button once. A ‘beep’ sound will
be heard and the cuff will start to inflate. It is normal for
the cuff to feel very tight.
• When inflation is completed, deflation starts automatically
and the ‘
’ (pulse symbol) blinks, indicating that the
measurement is in progress. Once the pulse is detected, the
pulse symbol will flash with each pulse beat.
• When the measurement is completed, a ‘beep’ sound
will be heard and the systolic/diastolic pressure readings
and pulse rate will be displayed. The cuff exhausts the
remaining air and deflates completely.
• Press [ ] ‘ON/OFF’ button again to turn off the power.
• If you wish to stop inflation at any time, press the [ ]
‘ON/OFF’ button again.
