What to do if OTC Welding System torch switch was on at startup?
If the torch switch was on when the power switch was turned on, make sure the torch switch is not currently pressed. If the internal functions F29 to F32 are set to "4" (activate), check the connections of the terminal blocks for external connection. The error code will disappear when the status above is resolved.
Why does OTC Welding System show error after torch switch is on without arc start?
If 5 seconds have passed without an arc start after the torch switch was turned on, check that the torch switch is not stuck in the ON position (not pressed). You can avoid this issue by turning OFF internal function F78. The error code will disappear when the status above is resolved.
