Washing the ear molds
The ear molds should be washed regularly:
• Disconnect the ear mold and the tubing from the sound
hook of the hearing instrument.
• Wash the ear mold in lukewarm water using a mild soap.
Do not use strong detergents.
• Rinse with water.
• Dry the ear mold.
• Any water drops inside the ear mold or tubing should be
blown out. A special device for this purpose (an ear mold
blower) is available from your Hearing Care Professional.
