Your volume control is programmed to work under normal
conditions at a certain level. When this level is reached by
adjusting your volume control the visual status indicator will

This is default On for users of age 7 and below. The feature can
be enabled or disabled.
If steady light is enabled, it will turn permanently Off when the
Battery Low beeps are activated to indicate the battery should be
changed.
