► Do not carry out any heat treatment on steel or titanium bars at temper
atures above 300°C.
► Do not carry out any heat treatment on aluminium bars at temperatures
above 150°C.

Shortening side bars
> Required tools: 702B9 hole gauge, 726S9=90x11.5 countersink, meas
uring tape, pen
1) Check the alignment of the side bars on the model.
2) Optional: Shorten the side bars and adapt the edges to the insertion
zone of the orthotic joint.
3) Use the 702B9 hole gauge for the bores in the insertion zone of the side
bar.
4) Countersink and deburr the bores for the oval countersunk screws with
the countersink.
