Overview

This document is an instruction manual for the OTTO TW100 True Wireless Earbuds with Charging Case.

Product Overview

The product consists of two earbuds (left and right) and a charging case.

Earbuds: Each earbud features a multi-function button, an indicator light, and a microphone.

Charging Case: The charging case has a Micro USB port on the back for charging, status lights on the front, and a status button.

Power On/Off

To power on the earbuds, press and hold the multi-function button on both earbuds simultaneously until the indicators flash red and blue. To power off, press and hold the multi-function button on either earbud until the indicator flashes red, or place both earbuds back into the charging case and press the status button on the charging case.

Pairing

Pairing is required only for new devices. To pair, power on both earbuds and enable Bluetooth on your mobile device. Select "TW100" from the list of available devices. A prompt will confirm successful pairing.

Charging Operation

Initial Use of Earbuds:

  1. Place the earbuds inside the charging case.
  2. Connect the included charging cable to the charging port on the back of the charging case and the other end to a workable USB power source.
  3. The earbuds are fully charged when the power indicator light on each earbud turns off.

Recharging Earbuds/Charging Case:

  1. To recharge the earbuds, insert both earbuds firmly into the charging case.
  2. Press the status button on the charging case to activate the charging process.
  3. The indicators on the earbuds will light up red during charging.
  4. The red indicator light on the earbuds will turn off once fully charged. Charging time may vary based on the battery level of the charging case.

Checking Battery Level of Charging Case: Press the "status button" on the front of the charging case to review the battery status.

Recharging the Charging Case:

  1. Connect the included USB charging cable to the charging port on the back of the charging case and the other end to a USB power source.
  2. The status lights on the front of the charging case will flash red during charging and turn to solid red once fully charged.

Troubleshooting

Audio from earbuds is lagging or one side dropped out:

  • Possible Cause: Signal interference from surrounding environment (cellular signal tower, WIFI broadcast antenna).
  • Solution: Leave the premises to reduce interference.
  • Possible Cause: Earbuds are not properly connected or paired.
  • Solution: Turn off both earbuds, remove "TW100" from the Bluetooth device list on your mobile device, and re-initiate the pairing process.

Charging case cannot be recharged:

  • Possible Cause: A loose connection on the USB charging cable between the charging case and USB power source.
  • Solution: Check both connections of the USB charging cable.
  • Possible Cause: USB power source is not working.
  • Solution: Check the status of the USB power source.

Earbuds are not charging:

  • Possible Cause: Battery level in the charging case is low.
  • Solution: Connect the charging case with the included USB charging cable to a USB power source.
  • Possible Cause: Earbud charge points do not connect with charge points in the charging case.
  • Solution: Take out both earbuds and reposition them in the charging case until the red indicator light is on.

Earbuds cannot be paired with the mobile device:

  • Possible Cause: The pairing steps were missed.
  • Solution: Turn off both earbuds and go through the pairing steps again.
  • Possible Cause: Previously connected devices have not yet disconnected from the earbuds.
  • Solution: Check the Bluetooth setting on the previous connected device to either turn off the Bluetooth function or remove "TW100" from the list of devices.
  • Possible Cause: Battery level is low in earbuds.
  • Solution: Put both earbuds into the charging case to recharge (check the battery level in the charging case and connect to an external USB power source if necessary).

No audio during handsfree operation:

  • Possible Cause: Bluetooth connection is interrupted.
  • Solution: Check the Bluetooth connection.
  • Possible Cause: Audio volume level was set too low.
  • Solution: Check the sound volume setting on the mobile phone.

Earbuds Functions

  • Pause: Press either multi-function button.
  • Play: Press either multi-function button.
  • Next track: Press twice on the multi-function button of the left earbud.
  • Previous track: Press twice on the multi-function button of the right earbud.
  • Volume up: Long press on the multi-function button of the left earbud. A beep tone will confirm one level up.
  • Volume down: Long press on the multi-function button of the right earbud. A beep tone will confirm one level down.
  • Call up assistance: Press three times on the multi-function button on either earbud.
  • Answer call: Press either one of the multi-function buttons once.
    • Note: Press the multi-function button of the relevant earbud to accept an incoming call from another phone/mobile number. Press the "Accept" icon on the device screen to accept an incoming call from certain instant messaging apps.
  • Reject call: Press and hold either one of the multi-function buttons.
  • Hang up call: Press either one of the multi-function buttons once.

Turning on the earbuds: Press and hold the multi-function button on each earbud until the indicator light flashes blue and red. The earbuds will automatically reconnect to the paired phone. Turning off the earbuds: Press and hold the multi-function button on either side of the earbud until the indicator light flashes red and prompts "Power Off," or place them back into the charging case and press the status button on the charging case.

Officeworks Ltd warrants that this product will be free from defects and work as intended for 3 years from the date of purchase by the original customer. If the product has any defects or does not work as specified during the Warranty Period, Officeworks will, at its election and at its expense, repair or replace the product.

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Cosmetic damage.
  • Damage caused by consumables used in connection with the product (such as batteries).
  • Where the product has not been used in accordance with all provided instructions.
  • Damage arising from fair wear and tear.
  • Where the product has not been subject to reasonable use.
  • Where the product has been intentionally or negligently damaged.
  • If the customer has attempted to repair the product.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
