Review system configuration, disconnect all power sources, and verify de-energized condition with a voltmeter.
Internal parts can become hot. Allow sufficient cool-down time before performing maintenance.
Discharge static electricity before touching internal components to prevent damage.
Disconnect all AC and DC sources, remove DC cover, battery terminals, and AC cover.
Remove battery terminal ring nuts, AC compartment screws, and top cover hex bolts.
