Introduction to KP-200 Operations

Edit Mode Operation

Operator designs or edits label formats and stores them in memory.

Print Mode Operation

Prints restored label format on the EZ-2 or EZ-4 Thermal Printer.

Erase Mode Operation

Deletes an individual label format from the memory module.

Erase All Mode Operation

Erases entire contents of the interchangeable memory module.

Power On Sequence

Edit Mode: Restore Format and Printer Selection

Restore Format from Memory Module

Restores a previously saved label format from the memory module.

Select Printer Type

Selects the desired printer type (e.g., EZ-2 or EZ-4).

Edit Mode: Paper Type and Dimensions

Select Paper Type

Selects the media type: Label, Registration Mark, or Fax paper.

Enter Label Width

Enters the label width in millimeters.

Enter Label Height

Enters the label height in millimeters, including gap.

Edit Mode: Length Settings

Enter Top Length

Defines top length based on registration mark and tear line distance.

Edit Mode: Print and Darkness Settings

Enter Black Length

Enters the black registration mark length in millimeters.

Enter Feed Length for Fax Paper

Enters the feed length specifically for fax paper.

Enter Print Speed

Sets the print speed in inches per second.

Enter Thermal Head Temperature (Darkness)

Sets the thermal head temperature for darkness level (0-7).

Edit Mode: Field and Data Type Settings

Select Self Strip Function

Enables or disables the stripper sensor option.

Field Programming

Allows editing of individual fields within a label format.

Enter Data Type

Selects data type for fields (Text or various Barcodes).

Edit Mode: Blank Line and Font Settings

Enter Blank Line

Sets the line space (distance between fields) in millimeters.

Variable Field Configuration

Configures fields for variable or fixed data input.

Font Size Settings

Sets horizontal and vertical font multipliers.

Barcode Data Field Configuration

Configures barcode data fields: ratios, height, readability.
