Function Description:
The OXO Tot Nest™ Booster Seat is intended to elevate a child to a comfortable height at an adult dining table, allowing them to participate in family meals. It includes a restraint system to secure the child and attachment straps to fasten the booster seat to an adult chair. The booster seat is designed for children who can sit unassisted and should be used until the child's weight exceeds 50 lbs (23 kg). The restraint system should be used until the child is able to get in and out of the product without help (around 2 ½ years old).

Usage Features:
- Assembly and Attachment:
- The booster seat comes with chair back and bottom attachment straps, as well as a safety harness, pre-attached.
- To attach to an adult chair, first unbuckle all buckles.
- Position the booster securely on the chair, as far back on the seat as possible.
- Wrap the chair bottom attachment strap around the base of the chair and buckle it under the seat until a "click" is heard.
- Wrap the chair back attachment straps around the chair back and buckle them behind the seat until a "click" is heard.
- Ensure both sets of straps are tight by adjusting them until there is no slack.
- Always test the booster attachment to ensure it is securely fastened to the chair.
- Strapping Child into Booster:
- Release the safety harness by unbuckling the two waist straps from the crotch strap.
- Place the child on the booster seat and position the crotch strap between the child's legs.
- Buckle the two waist straps into the crotch strap buckle until a "click" is heard.
- Pull on the harness to check that both belts are locked.
- Adjust the waist straps until the child is snug in the booster. To loosen, slide the strap adjusters towards the center; to tighten, slide them away from the center.
- To remove the child, release the buckles by unbuckling the two waist straps from the crotch strap.
- Always test strap security after adjusting and never leave the child unattended.
- Storage of Straps:
- Before removing straps from the booster, buckle all chair attachment and harness buckles to keep them together for storage.
- To remove straps, flip the booster over and push the t-straps through the slots. Pull on the other end of the straps to remove them.
- Roll all straps up and place them in the elastic pocket on the underside of the booster.
- Reattaching Straps:
- To reattach waist and crotch straps, push the t-straps through the slots in the seat cushion.
- Push the chair back and chair bottom attachment straps through the slots on the back and sides of the booster.
- Note that the chair back and chair bottom attachment straps are interchangeable.
- Pull on the straps to ensure they are secure and will not go through the slot.
- Safety Warnings:
- Prevent serious injury or death from sliding out, falls, or tipping over.
- ALWAYS secure the child with the restraint system adjusted to fit snugly.
- Stay near and watch the child during use.
- NEVER allow the child to push away from a wall or table.
- ALWAYS secure BOTH chair back and chair bottom straps when using on an elevated adult chair.
- NEVER use on a table, countertop, stool, or swivel chair.
- NEVER lift and carry with the child in the booster seat.
- NEVER use in a motor vehicle or as a bath seat.
- Always check that the product is properly secured to an adult chair before each use.
- Discontinue use when the child's weight exceeds 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Read all labels and the owner's manual before using.
- Follow assembly instructions carefully. Do not substitute parts.
- Save the owner's manual for future use.
- Only use on chairs that have a back.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning:
- All parts are surface wash only.
- Wash with mild soap and water; rinse with clean water and wipe dry.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads.
- Do not put the cushion in a dishwasher or washing machine, as the material will shrink and not fit properly.
- Removing Cushion for Cleaning:
- First, remove the waist and crotch straps.
- Pull up to unsnap the cushion from the chair.
- Wipe clean or hand wash.
- Replacing Cushion:
- After cleaning, press the cushion into the seat, ensuring all three pegs snap into their holes.
- Press down to secure and gently pull on the cushion to test security before next use.
- Storage:
- Store all parts in a cool, dry location.
- Do not store or use outside or where the booster seat can be exposed to moisture or water.
- Replacement Parts:
- If parts are missing, damaged, or broken, contact OXO Customer Service.
- Limited Warranty:
- OXO warrants the product to be free from defects in workmanship for two years from the date of purchase. A receipt is required for warranty claims.
