1. To perform the cutting action pull back the safety lock-
off switch (8) (Fig.2) whilst holding the lock-off switch
depress the on/off trigger switch (9). Release the trigger
switch (9) to retract the cutting blade (2).
2. With the cutting blade (2) in the fully open position
place the branch to be cut within the fixed blade (1) (Fig.
3). Repeat step 1 to perform the cut.
3. To retract open the cutting blade (2) release your finger
from the on/off trigger (9) whilst holding the safety
lock-off switch (8) (Fig. 4). The pruner now has its blades
open ready for more cutting .
Note: If the on/off trigger is released rapidly this affects the
blade opening. It will not return to it's fully open position.
When performing repetitive cuts it is recommended that the lock-off switch is kept
depressed.
Warning! Ensure you keep hands and fingers clear of the cutting blade
during operation.
