Built for Your Business Needs
The Pace 4111N intelligent gateway provides carriers the right balance
of quality and affordability in the increasingly competitive ADSL business
environment.
The Pace 4111N gateway incorporates next-generation technology to deliver
data-over-ADSL service. Fortified with Pace engineering expertise, it couples a
solid ADSL gateway feature set with high-quality materials where they matter, to
reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) and improve subscriber satisfaction.
Leading 802.11n Wireless Performance
Supporting a Wi-Fi Alliance-certified, high-powered MIMO solution, Pace 4111N
gateways offer a compelling alternative to stand alone commercial wireless
routers. The product includes a high-performance wireless router, up to four times
more powerful than standard routers, integrated into a managed ADSL gateway
for enhanced customer home network support.
Fail-Safe Firmware Upgrades
Typical firmware upgrade schemes rely on an uninterrupted power source and
a steady network connection to the gateway. Without these, firmware upgrade
files can become corrupt, rendering the gateway inoperable and requiring a
replacement gateway or costly truck roll. With its unique hardware- and software-
focused approach, the Pace 4111N gateway eliminates these risks. By allocating
specific gateway memory resources to this dedicated use, firmware images can
be downloaded to the gateway completely, and then checked for integrity before
loading. This diversified approach has consistently proven valuable in reducing
subsequent care costs, subscriber dissatisfaction, and churn.
Easy Configuration and Troubleshooting
The Pace 4111N gateway includes the streamlined Pace gateway
user interface (UI), with a user-friendly, welcoming design that makes it simple
for a subscriber to troubleshoot or change gateway settings. Links to common
networking actions are placed directly on the main UI page, so subscribers can
easily find and manage controls. And if a problem occurs, the gateway can
automatically redirect the subscriber to a self-resolution path.
Extended Surge Protection
Associated support and CPE replacement costs following a power surge can
diminish your bottom line. Reduce these unexpected post-deployment expenses
with the 4111N gateway.
This ADSL gateway’s hardware is robust enough to handle an unexpected surge
in power of up to 6 kV flowing from either the gateway’s ADSL port or AC power
supply, preventing unnecessary expenditures on truck rolls and replacement
gateways.
