Function Description
The Kid Trax Toddler Quad is a motorized ride-on toy designed for young children. Its primary function is to provide a fun and engaging riding experience for toddlers within a safe, supervised environment. The quad is operated by pressing a button to accelerate and releasing it to stop. Some models may include a light function that operates when the acceleration button is pressed, and a sound button for additional play features.

Usage Features
Child Safety Warnings:
- Adult supervision is required at all times.
- Adults must read and understand the entire manual before allowing a child to use the product.
- Adults should evaluate their children's maturity, strength, judgment, and ability to follow safety rules.
- Children must be taught about thinking ahead, steering, and avoiding obstacles.
- Riding is a dangerous activity; good choices regarding where and when to ride, constant adult supervision, and careful riding can minimize risk.
- If inherent risks are not acceptable, children should not ride the toy.
Safe Riding Warnings:
- Children should understand controls and safety issues and demonstrate capability to handle the toy.
- Adults must teach children not to allow other children to use the toy and communicate this to other adult supervisors.
- Never leave a child unattended; continuous adult supervision is required.
- Body parts (hands, legs, hair) and loose clothing can get caught in moving parts.
- Always wear shoes.
- Not for children outside the 18-30 month age range.
- Do not exceed 44 lbs weight capacity.
- Children must not access charging equipment or touch the toy while charging.
- Always use common sense and safe practices.
- Never use the toy in an unsafe manner, including:
- Pulling with another vehicle.
- Allowing more than one rider.
- Pushing the user from the back.
- Traveling at unsafe speeds.
- Stunt riding or other risky uses.
- Going over jumps or ramps.
- Not riding in a seated position.
- Not riding with battery or covers fully closed.
- Adults must set up physical barriers (gates, fences) to keep children away from hazardous areas.
- Always use in a safe, secure environment with continuous adult supervision.
- The toy has no brakes; do not use where braking is required.
- Do not ride in wet conditions (rain, snow) to prevent tip-over, skidding, and electrical damage.
- Do not ride near swimming pools or other bodies of water.
- Do not ride on roads, streets, or near other moving objects.
- Do not ride at night or in low visibility.
- Do not ride near drop-offs, steps, sloped surfaces, or hills.
- Do not ride into loose dirt, mud, sand, fine gravel, or rough surfaces.
- For best performance, ride on flat, hard surfaces.
- Never hitch onto another ride-on or pull anything.
Battery and Charging Warnings:
- Battery contains hazardous material; only an adult who has read and understands the manual should handle, connect, or charge it.
- Contact Pacific Cycle for questions regarding battery handling.
- Overcharging (more than 24 hours) can cause explosion, fire, serious injury, or property damage.
- Always disconnect the product from the charger after it's fully charged.
- A damaged supply cord, connector, or charger can cause burns, electrical fire, serious injury, or property damage. Inspect for frayed/kinked wires or exposed insulation.
- Do not use damaged charging components.
- Do not connect the battery and charger to an extension cord(s) as this can cause overheating, explosion, fire, serious injury, or property damage. Plug the charger directly into a wall outlet.
- Battery posts, terminals, and related accessories contain lead and lead compounds (acids), which are toxic and corrosive. Never open the battery.
- Contact with battery leakage can cause serious injury. Call 911 if contact occurs with skin/eyes or if swallowed.
- Flammable and Explosive Materials Warnings:
- Only use the supplied rechargeable battery and charger.
- Do not charge near heat or flammable materials.
- Using the battery/charger for other products can cause overheating, fire, or explosion.
- Avoid direct contact between positive and negative terminals to prevent fire/explosion.
- Lift the battery by its case or handles, not by wires or charger.
- Plug wall charger directly into a wall outlet; do not use an extension cord.
- Electric Shock / Fire Warnings:
- Liquids on the battery can cause fire or electric shock. Keep liquids away and battery dry.
- Tampering with or modifying the electric circuit system can cause shock, fire, explosion, and permanent damage.
- Exposed wiring/circuitry in the charger can cause electric shock. Keep charger housing closed.
- Regularly check charger, supply cord, and connector for wear and damage. Do not plug in or charge if damage is observed.
Assembly Warnings:
- Must be assembled by an adult who has read and understands the instructions.
- Choking hazard for children under 3 years; contains small parts for adult assembly only. Keep small children away during assembly.
- Remove and dispose of all protective materials, plastic bags, and packaging before assembly.
Maintenance Features
Pre-Ride Safety Checklist (Performed by a supervising adult):
- General: Do not ride if not in proper working condition. Replace worn/broken parts.
- Steering and Control:
- Steering wheel/handlebars are tightened and secured.
- Steering wheel/handlebars are positioned for easy operation.
- No difficulty in turning or operating the foot pedal/push button.
- Steering wheel/handlebars, steering column, and front wheels are aligned.
- Wheels:
- Wheels are securely attached and in good condition (slight lateral movement is acceptable).
- No holes or worn areas on wheels; traction strips are intact and secured.
- Drive wheel is securely fastened to the gearbox.
- Ride-on (Electrical Components):
- Battery is fully charged.
- Charging cord is NOT attached.
- All connectors are securely snapped in place.
- No exposed, worn, or detached wiring; motor is not hot.
- All electrical buttons (power, accelerator, lights, sounds) work properly.
- If any electrical components show damage or missing parts, DO NOT RIDE until corrected.
- Ride-on (Physical Condition):
- Clean, dry, and in good condition.
- All plastic pieces (fenders, seat, footrests, steering wheel/handlebars, wheels, bumpers, hub caps) are securely attached.
- No cracks or structural problems.
- If any damage or missing parts, DO NOT RIDE until corrected.
- Safety Labels: All safety labels are in place, readable, and understood by the rider.
Battery Replacement and Disposal:
- Battery will eventually lose charge capacity (1-3 years).
- Follow instructions for battery removal based on compartment style (with cover or bar).
- Recycle dead battery responsibly. Battery contains lead acid (electrolyte) and must be disposed of properly and legally.
- It is illegal to incinerate lead acid batteries or dispose of them in landfills in most areas.
- Take to a federal or state-approved lead acid battery recycler, authorized service center, or local automotive battery retailer.
- Do not throw battery away with regular household trash.
- This ride-on toy contains a sealed lead acid NON-SPILLABLE BATTERY, which must be recycled.
General Maintenance:
- Check tightness of fasteners before each use.
- Check tightness of wheels before each use.
- Ensure battery is securely in place before each use.
- Store indoors or cover with a tarp to protect from wet weather.
- Keep away from heat sources (stoves, heaters).
- Do not leave in the sun for long periods to prevent fading. Store in shade or cover.
- Do not wash with a hose, soap, or water.
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth.
- Use non-wax furniture polish to restore shine to plastic parts. Do not use car wax, abrasive cleaners, or wash with soap/water.
- Water will damage the motor, electrical system, and battery.

Warranty:
- 90 Day Limited Warranty: Covers defective materials or workmanship for 90 days from original purchase.
- Original receipt required for validation.
- PC will provide replacement parts or replace the product at its option.
- PC reserves the right to substitute if parts/models are discontinued.

- Original owner pays all labor charges for repair/replacement.
- Does not cover cost of shipment/transportation to/from authorized repair center or Kid Trax retailer.
- Limitation of Damages: Warranty and remedies are exclusive. PC or dealer not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states may not allow these limitations.
- Limitations of Warranties and Warranty Terms: Implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for purpose) are limited to the duration and terms of the express written warranty. Gives specific legal rights that may vary by state.
