  To improve the accuracy of your Pacific Sun Laboratory Equipment, ensure the following: * Pump #1 and pump #2 are correctly calibrated and free of long air gaps in the silicone tubing. Note that small air bubbles are acceptable. * The magnetic stirring bar/pellet is inside the kHLab cylindrical test chamber, as instructed. * Silicone tubing supplying reagent and test water are fully submerged below the liquid levels. * The green tip under the kHLab module chamber cover remains submerged during alkalinity tests. If you've recently replaced the dosing pumps PharMed tubing, allow a few days for the device to stabilize before recalibrating, unless the new tubing has a different diameter or nominal flow than the original Pacific Sun tubing.

  If you are experiencing widely varying measured alkalinity results with your Pacific Sun Laboratory Equipment, the pump heads rollers might be dirty. Check the pump heads rollers for any black buildup, dust, or lubricant/grease. If the rollers are dirty, remove the dosing pump head and clean the rollers using a fresh paper towel and alcohol or a different solvent solution.

  If the water mixing magnetic stirrer bar/pellet in your Pacific Sun Laboratory Equipment is not spinning, increase the “Stirrer speed” in the Cloud Application under the "KH Lab Settings". The default is 100, try increasing it to 150 or higher. If the water mixing magnetic stirrer bar/pellet is spinning too fast, decrease the “Stirrer speed”.

  If you're experiencing inconsistent alkalinity readings with your Pacific Sun Measuring Instruments, the pump heads rollers might be dirty. Check for any black buildup, dust, or lubricant/grease on the rollers. If they're dirty, remove the dosing pump head and clean the rollers thoroughly.

  If the magnetic stirrer bar/pellet isn't spinning in your Pacific Sun Measuring Instruments, try these adjustments: * In the application, under the “kHLab” tab, increase the “Stirrer speed” from the default 100 to, for example, 150 or higher. Save the setting by clicking "Save speed" and test again. * If increasing the speed doesn't help, try decreasing the “Stirrer speed”, save it by clicking "Save speed" and test again.

  To resolve communication issues between your Pacific Sun Measuring Instruments dosing station and the application on your PC, verify that the correct communication COM port number is selected in the application. Note that connecting a mobile device to Kore 7th will block Internet access on your mobile device through the Wi-Fi network; communication will only occur between the mobile device and Kore 7th.

  If your Pacific Sun Measuring Instruments device isn't providing accurate readings, ensure the following: * Pump #1 and pump #2 are correctly calibrated and free of long air gaps in the silicone tubing. Note that small air bubbles don't affect accuracy. * The magnetic stirring bar/pellet is correctly placed inside the kHLab cylindrical test chamber, following the instructions. * Silicone tubing supplying reagent and test water are fully submerged below the surface of the reagent solution and aquarium water. * The green tip under the kHLab module chamber cover remains submerged during alkalinity tests. When you replace dosing pumps with PharMed tubing, the device's performance might change slightly at first, but it should return to its usual accuracy within a few days. Avoid recal...
