Why Paco-Pumps Water Pump does not deliver any liquid at start-up?
    • T
      Thomas YoungAug 13, 2025
If your Paco-Pumps Water Pump isn't delivering liquid at start-up, it might be due to several reasons: * The pump may not have been properly bled of air; in this case, properly bleed the pump of air. * The pump suction line may not be completely primed; completely prime the pump suction line. * The suction valve might be closed or only partially open; ensure the suction valve is fully open. * The suction strainer could be clogged with dirt or debris; clean or replace the clogged suction strainer.

    • A
      Alexis HillAug 21, 2025
If your Paco-Pumps Water Pump is using too much power, it could be that the total head of installation (back pressure) is higher than the rated total head of the pump. To resolve this, check and adjust the installation head pressure.

What to do if Paco-Pumps Water Pump overheats and/or ceases to deliver liquid?
    • K
      Kelly WebbAug 25, 2025
If your Paco-Pumps Water Pump overheats and/or ceases to deliver liquid, make sure proper cooling fluid is supplied to the shaft seals. Also, excessive tightening of the packing gland may block the flushing port thereby diminishing the sealing fluid flow, so adjust the packing gland to allow proper flushing fluid flow. You can also inspect the pump for signs of overheating and check the bearings.

How to fix insufficient flow rate in Paco-Pumps Water Pump?
    • W
      Wyatt FosterSep 1, 2025
If you're experiencing an insufficient flow rate with your Paco-Pumps Water Pump, it could be because the pump hasn't been properly bled of air, so properly bleed the pump of air. It's also possible that the pump is operating at too low a rate of flow; increase flow rate if the discharge valve is throttled.

What causes Paco-Pumps Water Pump bearings to overheat and/or fail prematurely?
    • T
      Travis WhiteSep 5, 2025
If the bearings in your Paco-Pumps Water Pump are overheating or failing prematurely, it could be due to excessive greasing, which may cause the bearings to overheat, so reduce the amount of grease applied to the bearings. Inadequate lubrication may also be causing bearing failure, so ensure adequate lubrication is provided to the bearings.

    • K
      Kyle WrightSep 8, 2025
