Normal recording

Set the POWER switch to ON.

Before proceeding with the recording, make sure that the cassette tab
has been set to the REC position.

This unit uses “L” cassettes only.

Press the EJECT button to open the cassette holder, and insert the
cassette tape.

Set the camera switches as shown below.
Set the GAIN selector switch to a setting which
corresponds to the brightness of the subject.
Select the desired white balance mode using the
white balance selector switch.
Select the desired shutter speed if necessary.
(Normally, the camera is used with the shutter
off.)
Set the OUTPUT selector switch to CAM.

Point the camera at the subject and adjust the focus and zoom.

Press the VTR START/STOP button to start the recording.

Press the VTR START/STOP button to stop the recording.

Adjust the white balance if the white balance
selector switch is at MEMO.
