< Basic photography -in auto mode
The first steps
Press the ON/OFF button to power on. The lens unit comes out and
the LCD unit display appears.
To take a picture simply press ihe shutter release button with the
camera set to auto mode. In the case that there is insufficient light,
the flash will operate automatically.

to"Advanced photography”
Holding the camera
Do not touch the lens, flash, auto-focus windows, or exposure sensor
with your fingers.
You should support the camera firmly in order to prevent camera
shake. In the verticai position, hold the camera so that the flash is
uppermost. Use both hands to ensure a steady grip to avoid shake.
Finishing shooting
Press the ON/OFF button when you tum off the power.
Note: if the camera has been inactive for 5 minutes when the power
is on, the camera will be turned off (power off) automatically to
save the power.
