Red-eye
reduction
Use
this
mode
to
reduce
the
possibility
of
eyes
showing
up
red
in
your
photo.
Just
press
the
Flash
mode
/
SELECT
button
until
the
red-
eye
reduction
symbol
appears.
The
red-eye
effect
can
occur
when
using
flash
for
low-light
photography.
When
the
mode
is
selected
and
the
shutter
release
button
is
pressed,
a
red-eye
reduction
lamp
lights
up,
followed
by
the
release
of
the
shutter
with
flash.
After
pressing
the
shutter
release
button,
keep
the
camera
still
for
about
1
second
until
the
Aash
fires,
Even
when
the
red-eye
reduction
mode
is
used,
the
red
eye
effect
may
still
occur
for
certain
individuals
under
certain
conditions.
This
function
will
only
work
when
it
is
dark
enough
for
the
red
eye
effect
to
present
a
problem.
Thus
it
may
sometimes
not
operate
even
when
set,
This
mode
is
not
advised
for
taking
quick
snapshots
due
to
the
necessary
delay
involved.
