1 Battery
Inserting the battery
1 Insert a coin inta the groove on the battery compartment cover and
turn counter-clockwise to open the cover as shown.
2 Insert one 3V lithium battery (CR-123A) by matching the +/- symbols
as indicated in the battery compartment.
3 Close the cover and fasten by using a coin securely.
" For replacement batteries, we naturally recommend Panasonic ones
(CR-123A).
Note: The battery powers both the camera and the date imprinting
facility.
Battery replacement
* When the battery becomes low, the blinking battery symbol appears.
In this case the battery should be replaced.
* Do not attempt to recharge, short, disassemble or heat the battery.
* Do not dispose of the battery by burning.
Notes: The blinking battery symbol could also be caused by one of
the following conditions:
* Degraded battery performance due to low temperature. In this case,
it will recover naturally as the battery heats up (do not assist this
process by directly heating the battery or by placing it in contact
with a radiator).
* The camera has been powered on wilh ihe back cover open for a
long period.
