Press (OPEN) to open the front panel.

Load a disc with the label-side facing up.
When a disc is already loaded, press (SOURCE)
to select the CD mode.
The unit recognizes the disc and starts playing auto-
matically.
(It may take several minutes to start for a disc that has
a lot of files.)
Notes:
¡
Do not insert a disc when indicator lights
because a disc is already loaded.
¡ The power is turned on automatically when inserting a disc.
¡ To take the disc out, press the eject button.

¡ Refer to the section on “Notes on MP3/WMA” (a Page 32)
¡ For a disc that contains both CD-DA data and MP3/WMA
data, the unit plays CD-DA data first and MP3/WMA data
next collectively in recorded order respectively. If there is a
MP3/WMA file between CD-DA files in recorded order, there
is a 5-second silent period for the MP3/WMA file spot when
the unit plays CD-DA data.

One-touch operation is available for selecting a track playing style by use of (RAND Random) or (REP Repeat).
RANDOM, REPEAT: Press the button. Press again to cancel.

You can find your favorite file by playing first 10-sec. of each file.

¡ For scrolling text, hold down (BAND) for 2 sec. or more.
¡ “NO TEXT” is displayed when there is no information on the disc.
¡ ID3/WMA tag information is displayed for the title name and artist name.
