Why is my Panasonic CS-C9PKV Air Conditioner compressor not compressing sufficiently?
    • M
      Matthew SimpsonAug 17, 2025
Insufficient compression in a Panasonic Air Conditioner's compressor can occur if the electric current during operation is approximately 20% lower than the normal value, causing the discharge tube of the compressor to become abnormally hot (normally 70°C to 90°C). It can also happen if the difference between high and low pressure becomes almost zero.
  • D
    Dustin HebertAug 21, 2025
Why is there a difference in air temperatures at the intake and outlet of my Panasonic CS-C9PKV Air Conditioner?
    • P
      Patrick MillerAug 21, 2025
There could be several reasons for this. It could be due to insufficient refrigerant, a clogged strainer or capillary cube, an excessive amount of refrigerant, a dusty condenser preventing heat radiation, or an inefficient compressor. The electric current may be higher than specified. In cooling mode, the difference should be less than 8°C. If measuring gas side pressure reveals a lower than specified cooling gas side mode, this could also be the cause.
