Variable Speed Search
Press the PLAY Button.
• Playback starts.

Press the PLAY Button again.
Rotate the SELECT SET WHEEL to
adjust the playback speed.
• Rotate the SELECT SET WHEEL
downward for forward playback.
• Rotate the SELECT SET WHEEL
upward for reverse playback.
To return the normal playback:
Press the PLAY button. Playback continues
at normal speed.
Notes:
• The Variable Speed Search function offers
a choice of six playback speeds (1/5x, lx,
2x, 5x, 10x, 20x) both in forward and
reverse directions.
• The review playback at the lx speed is
playback in reverse direction.
• During the Variable Speed Search (at a
speed other than lx), mosaic-like patterns
will appear in the picture.
• During the Variable Speed Search, sound
is muted.
Fast Forward/Rewind Check
Monitor normal picture playback during fast
forward or rewind.
• Hold down the FAST FORWARD/
SEARCH during fast forward.
• Hold down the REWIND/SEARCH during
rewind.
• The picture will appear for as long as the
button is held down.
