Basic Settings
Auto Setup
You can restart the Auto Setup. (> 22)
1 Select “Yes”, then press [OK].
• If the country selection screen appears:
Select the country, then press [OK].
2 Follow the on-screen instructions and make
the following settings.
[DVB-C]
1 Select “Digital Cable (DVB-C) Channels”,
then press [OK].
2 Select “Preset Channel Number” or
“Operator’s Channel Number ( LCN )”,
then press [OK].
3 Select the items and change the items.
(For details, consult the cable provider.)
Search Mode
• All Channels
• Free Channels
Scan Mode
• Quick:
Scans the suitable frequency for the
selected country.
•Full:
Scans the whole frequency range.
Frequency/Symbol Rate/Network ID
Normally set to “Auto”.
If “Auto” is not displayed or if necessary,
enter the value specified by your cable
provider with number buttons.
4 Select “Start scan”, then press [OK].
Auto Setup starts.
[DVB-T ]
Select “Digital Terrestrial (DVB-T) Channels”,
then press [OK].
Auto Setup starts.
• The timer recording programmes are cancelled.
• If the channel you are looking for is not found, select “Full”
for “Scan Mode”. (> above)

Channel List
You can edit the channel list.
• To hide/reveal channels
1 Select the channel.
2 Press [OK].
The check mark is removed/displayed.
• Red: Change the sorting mode.
• Yellow: Reveal all channels.
• Blue: Change the Category.
• To move the channel number assignment
1 Select the channel to move, then press
the green button.
2 Enter the channel number to reassign
with the number buttons.
3 Press [OK].
Manual Tuning
You can add new channels manually.
[DVB-C]
1 Adjust the frequency, symbol rate and
service ID. (For details, consult the cable
provider.)
• Adjust the frequency by checking the
signal strength and signal quality
displays.
2 Select “Start scan”, then press [OK].
• The set channel is displayed in the table.
[DVB-T ]
1 Press [3, 4] to select the frequency.
• Adjust the frequency by checking the
signal strength and signal quality
displays.
2 Press [OK] to start scan.
• The set channel is displayed in the table.
[DVB-C]
• This function is not available during an Operator
profile update. (> 28)
