• While writing to/reading from the media, do not switch the
unit to standby mode or remove the media. Such action
may result in loss of the media contents.
• When inserting the media, ensure that it is facing the right
way up.
Main unit
1 Remote control signal sensor
• Angle: Approx. 20° up and down, 30° left and
right
• Distance: Within approx. 7 m in front of the
unit
2 Standby/on switch (Í/I)
Press to switch the unit from on to standby
mode or vice versa. In standby mode, the unit
is still consuming a small amount of power.
3 USB port
4 Information LED1
• Flashes when a USB memory is inserted.
• Displays the various states of this unit.

5 Information LED2
• Flashes for approx. 20 seconds when DLNA
compatible equipment is connected to this
unit over the network (when this unit is used
as a server). (> 47)
• Lights up during firmware update. (> 66)
• Displays the various states of this unit.

6 Recording LED
• Lights up while recording.
• Flashes while recording is paused and
before recording starts.
7 POWER LED/Remote control signal indicator
• Flashes when the power is turned on/off.
Wait for the LED to turn solid green before
using this unit.
• Flashes when this unit receives remote
control signals.
