Why can't I set a timer recording or manually record to the BD/DVD Drive on my Panasonic Blu-ray Player?
All recordings are made to the hard disc drive (HDD) to comply with copyright protection specifications for high definition recorders. Once the recording is on the HDD, it can be copied to the BD/DVD drive. Note that some HD recordings have restrictions on the number of times they can be copied. Check the copy flag in the Direct Navigator to see how many copies are possible.
