and make sure t hat t he
tightening torque is 9.8N㺃m or l ess. Al so, in ord er t o
prevent any leakage, wind a sealing t ape on t he cou-
pling when connecting.
However, sealing tape is not required for North Ameri-
can type using NPTF

Setting of pressure lead direction
The pressure lead direct ion can be changed by dismant ling
the pressure port attachment and changing the mounting
direction. The tightening torque of the hexagon-socket-

to the pressure port, hold the
pressure port attachment
with a 16mm (Light weight
type: 10mm) spanner and
make sure that the tighten-
ing torque is 9.8N㺃m or less
(Light weight type: 1.47N㺃m
or less). Also, in order t o prevent any leakage, wind a
sealing t ape on t he coupling when connecting.

Piping for pressure measurement inlet port
When connecting a coupling to t he pressure measurement
inlet port, hold the pressure port attachment with a spanner
and make sure that the tightening torque is 9.8N㺃m or l ess.
Also, in order to prevent any leakage, wind a sealing
tape on t he coupling when connecting.

his product has been developed / produced for indus-
trial use only.
Use wit hin t he rated pressure range.
Do not apply pressure exceeding t he pressure with-
standability value. The diaphragm will get damaged
and correct operation shall not be maintained.
Make sure to carry out the wiring in the power supply
off condition.
Take care that wrong wiring will damage the sensor.
Verify that the supply voltage variation is within the rating.
If power is supplied from a commercial switching regu-
lator, ensure that the frame ground (F.G.) terminal of
the power supply is connected to an actual ground.
In case noise generating equipment (switching regula-
tor, inverter motor, etc.) is used in the vicinity of this
sensor, connect the frame ground (F.G.) terminal of
the equipment to an actual ground

Do not use during the initial transient time (0.5 sec.)
after the power supply is switched on.
Do not run the wires together with high-voltage lines or
power lines or put t hem in the same raceway. This can
cause malfunct ion due to induct ion.
Avoid use of standard type, flat type and light weight type
of sensor in places where steam and dust is excessive.
Take care that the sensor does not come in contact
with water, oil, grease, or organic solvents, such as,
thinner, etc.
Do not insert wires, etc, into the pressure port. The di-
aphragm will get damaged and correct operat ion shall
not be maintained.
Do not operate the keys with pointed or sharp objects.
Make sure that stress by forcible bend or pulling is not
applied directly to the sensor cable joint.
Extension up to total 100m is possible with 0.3mm
2
, or
more, cable. However, in case of using this product as
a CE conformity product, the power wire connected to
this product must be within 10m.
