ATW
Sensor
This
sensor
detects
characteristic/colour
temperature
of
light
source
and
controls
the
gain
of
red
and.
blue
signal
individually
and
automatically
in
order
to
set
the
white
balance
automatically
when
the
White
Balance
Selection
Switch
(5)
is
set
to
the
ATW
position.
Note:
Do
not
block
the
sensor
during
the
auto
tracing
white-balance
mode.
White
Balance
Set
Switch
(WHITE
BALANCE
SET)
The
white
balance
can
be
set
by
pressing
this
switch
when
the
White
Balance
Selection
Switch
(5)
is
set
to
AWC
position.
Microphone
Holder
An
internal
microphone
WV-MC12E
can
be
sliden
into
this
holder.
EVF/Camera
Remote
Connector
(EVF/CAMERA
RE-
MOTE)
(10-Pin)
When
an
1"
detachable
electronic
viewfinder
WV-VFO2E,
or
camera
remote
controller
WV-CR12E
is
used,
connect
the
10-pin
connector
here.
White
Balance
Selection
Switch
(AWC/ATW)
This
switch
selects
white
balance
mode
as
follows;
AWC:
The
white
balance
can
be
set
automatically
by
the
White
Balance
Set
Switch
(2).
When
the
blinking
WHITE
is
displayed
on
the
electronic
viewfinder,
depress
the
White
Balance
Set
Switch
(2).
ATW:
The
white
balance
is
automatically
set
by
detecting
the
characteristic/colour
temperature
of
light
source
with
the
ATW
sensor
(1)
and
controls
the
gain
of
red
and
blue
signal
even
if
the
characteris-
tic/colour
temperature
changes,
Note:
1.
It
is
recommended
to
use
the
ATW
position
if
quick
setting
up
is
required
or
the
characteris-
tic/colour
temperature
of
fight
would
vary
during
shooting.
2.
\t
is
recommended
to
use
the
AWC
position
if
the
characteristic/colour
temperature
of
scene
does
not
vary.
Character
Generator
Connector
(10P)
(TITLE)
When
an
optional
character
generator
WV-KB12E
is
used,
connect
the
10-pin
character
generator
connector
here.
AGC
Selection
Switch
(AGC
HIGH/LOW/OFF)
Normally
set
this
switch
to
OFF
position.
Positions
LOW
and
HIGH
increase
the
video
output
amplitude
for
dark
scenes
and
are
equivalent
to
opening
the
lens
iris
two
or
three
F
stops.
Pan/Tilt
Connector
(5P)
(PAN/TILT)
When
an
optional
pan/tilt
head
WV-PH10E
is
used,
connect
the
5-pin
pan/tilt
connector
here.
Auto
Iris
Control
This
can
manually
adjust
the
lens
iris
opening
to
compensa-
te
for
unusual
lighting
conditions.
When
the
object
is
in
bright
light
and
the
background
is
dark,
adjust
this
knob
to
close
the
lens
iris
opening.
