43. Fade-in/out Button (FADE) 45. Keyboard
This button can be used to fade-in or fade-out recordings
Four push buttons are installed as follows:
for video and audio. :%
When the button is pressed the letter F is cisplayed in the
viewfinder,
The letter F indicates that the camera is ready for fade-in or
fade-out,
To start the fade-in or fade-out, press the VTR Start/Pause
Button (55).
To cancel the fade-in or fade-out before starting it, press 46.
Fade-in/out Button again.
44. Rec Review Button (REC REV)
When this camera is operated with Panasonic specified
portable VTR such as NV-180E, this function operates and
this button is only activated in the VTR'‘s pause (Record/
Pause) mode.
When this button is pressed after recording and the VTR is
in pause mode, the VTR automatically rewinds the tape for
quick review and plays back the tape for approximately 2
seconds and stops (Record/Pause) at the position of the end
of previous recording,

Four buttons
Record/Playback Selection Switch (REC/PLAY)
This switch selects the function of the switches installed in
the keyboard panel and specified Panasonic portable VTR
such as NV-180E as follows.
REC: |Set to Rec/Pause Can be set or display
mode.
PLAY :| Set to Play/Pause No function at all
mode and PLAY,
FWD, REW, SLOW
can be controlled.
Tripod Mounting Hole
This is standard N.C. 1/4-inch,20-threaded hole for mount-
ing the camera on a tripod.
EVF Release Spring
When detaching the electronic viewfinder, depress this and
slide out the electronic viewfinder.
EVF Mounting Bracket Lock Screw
Fix

onto
the
camera
head
by
rotation this clockwise.
