      If your Panasonic Cordless Telephone unit isn't working, ensure the batteries are installed correctly. Fully charge the batteries. Check all connections. Unplug the base unit’s AC adaptor to reset the unit, then reconnect it. Also, the handset may need to be registered to the base unit.

      If you cannot hear a dial tone on your Panasonic Cordless Telephone, the base unit’s AC adaptor or telephone line cord may not be connected properly. Check the connections. You can also test the telephone line by disconnecting the base unit and connecting the line to a known working telephone. If the working telephone operates properly, contact service personnel to have the unit repaired. If the working telephone does not operate properly, contact your phone service provider.

      The Caller ID number auto edit feature is turned off. Turn it on and try again. Also, you need to call back the edited number to activate Caller ID number auto edit.

      The Bluetooth feature cannot be accessed immediately after connecting the AC adaptor to the base unit. Wait a few seconds and try again. The headset has not connected to the base unit yet, even though you performed the connecting procedure setting. Wait a few seconds and try again.

      You may not be able to remotely operate the answering system on your Panasonic Cordless Telephone because the remote access code is not set, so set the remote access code. You may be entering the wrong remote access code. The answering system may be turned off, so turn it on. Also, you cannot operate the answering system when calling a cellular phone paired to the base unit.

      If you fully charged the batteries of your Panasonic Cordless Telephone, but they still flash, display the battery icon, or have a shorter operating time, clean the battery ends and the charge contacts with a dry cloth and charge again. If the problem persists, it may be time to replace the batteries.

      Caller information may not be announced on your Panasonic Cordless Telephone because the ringer volume for landline or cellular line is turned off. The unit which is not selected to ring for cellular calls does not announce caller information. The Talking Caller ID feature may be turned off, so turn it on. If the number of rings for the answering system is set to “2 rings” or “Toll saver”, select a different setting. Also, your unit does not announce caller information while other devices such as headsets or handsets are engaged in a call.
