Why Panasonic MCO-170AICL Incubator chamber temperature does not match the set value?
    • T
      Travis BenjaminAug 21, 2025
If the chamber temperature on your Panasonic Incubator isn't matching the set value, check if the ambient temperature is less than 5 ?C different from the set chamber temperature. Also, make sure the outer door is closed and the inner door isn't left open. Lastly, ensure the incubator isn't near equipment that generates electromagnetic waves.

What to do if Panasonic MCO-170AICL CO gas density does not match the set value?
    • X
      xkellyAug 23, 2025
If the CO gas density in your Panasonic Incubator isn't matching the set value, verify that the secondary pressure for the gas regulator is at the specified value of 0.03 MPa(G) (0.3 kgf/cm2(G), 4.3 psi(G)). Check for any blockages in the gas tube and ensure the duct is securely attached to the 4 points hooks. Also, confirm that the fan is properly attached and pushed all the way to the motor shaft. Finally, ensure the incubator is not operating near equipment that generates electromagnetic waves.

What to do if Panasonic MCO-170AICL Incubator CO gas density is slow to recover?
    • A
      Angela BrownAug 26, 2025
If the CO gas density is slow to recover in your Panasonic Incubator, and the CO gas pressure is normal, the HEPA filter may be clogged and you should contact our sales representative or agent. Also, check if there is little gas remaining in the CO gas cylinder and ensure the secondary pressure for the gas regulator is at the specified value of 0.03 MPa(G) (0.3 kgf/cm2(G), 4.3 psi(G)). Check for blockages in the gas tube and ensure the duct is securely attached to the 4 points hooks. Confirm that the fan is properly attached and pushed all the way to the motor shaft.

What to do if Panasonic Incubator is consuming a large quantity of CO gas?
    • S
      Steven WintersAug 28, 2025
If your Panasonic Incubator is consuming a large quantity of CO gas, check if the outer and inner doors are being frequently opened and closed. Inspect connectors for gas leaks due to deterioration of the gas tube or pinhole leaks; consider replacing the gas tube annually. Also, verify if the packing seal for the inner door is defective and if the access hole is open.

What to do if Panasonic MCO-170AICL does not operate at all?
    • G
      Gary RiosSep 4, 2025
If your Panasonic Incubator isn't operating, check if it's properly plugged in and if there's a power outage or a tripped circuit breaker. Also, verify that the removal power supply cord is connected to the port on the lower right side of the cabinet.

Why Panasonic MCO-170AICL outer door does not open?
    • J
      Jeffrey WoodSep 7, 2025
If the outer door of your Panasonic Incubator doesn't open, it may be because the electric lock is engaged when the power switch is OFF. Turn the power switch ON or use the accessory unlock key to override the electric lock. Also, the outer door is electrically locked during decontamination.

Why CO gas is not being injected in Panasonic MCO-170AICL?
    • K
      Kristina ThompsonSep 10, 2025
The CO control method for the Panasonic Incubator is the ON-OFF method. CO gas is intermittently injected as the gas density in the chamber approaches the set value. Injections may be stopped for periods of approximately 15 seconds, but that is not an error. The gas is not injected until the temperature of the CO sensor becomes stable enough approx. 1 hour, after turning ON the power switch or recovering from power failure.

Why Panasonic MCO-170AICL Incubator UV lamp lights when the outer door is open?
    • J
      Julia Hendrix PhDSep 12, 2025
If the UV lamp lights when the outer door of your Panasonic Incubator is open, check if something is pushing the door switch.
