Pad Recipe Serving/Weight Hints
Potatoes/ 1. Potatoes 4 maximum Pierce each potato with a fork 6 times spacing

5. Frozen 225 g Follow manufacturers’ directions for preparation.

6. Frozen 1 sandwich Follow manufacturers’ directions for preparation.

7. Frozen 225 - 900 g Follow manufacturers' directions for preparation.
Entrées (8 - 32 oz.) After 2 beeps, stir or rearrange. Be careful when
removing the film cover after cooking. Remove
facing away from you to avoid steam burns.
If additional time is needed, continue to cook
manually.
8. Frozen 300 - 450 g Follow manufacturers’ directions for covering or
Dinners (11 - 16 oz.) removing covers. Do not use frozen foods packaged
in foil trays.
Oatmeal/ 9. Oatmeal 40 - 80 g Place inside a microwave safe serving bowl with
Soup (

preparation.
10. Soup 1, 2 cups Pour soup into a microwave safe serving bowl.
(250, 500 ml) Cover with lid or vented plastic wrap. Stir after
cooking.
Rice/Pasta 11. Rice

(110 - 335 g) casserole dish. Cover with lid or vented plastic wrap.
Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
12. Pasta 56 - 225 g Place pasta with hot tap water in a microwave safe
(2 - 8 oz.) casserole dish. Cover with lid or vented plastic wrap.
Meat/Fish 13. Breakfast 2 - 8 links Follow manufacturers’ directions for preparation of
Sausage pre-cooked breakfast sausage. Place in a radial
pattern.
14. Ground 450 - 900 g Break apart in glass bowl or colander. Cover with lid
Meat (16 - 32 oz.) or vented plastic wrap. After 2 beeps, stir. Re-cover
and press Start. Juices should be clear. Drain.
15. Fish Fillets 110 - 450 g Arrange in a single layer. Cover with lid or vented
(4 - 16 oz.) plastic wrap.
