CAUTIONS
Only use this unit with a potable water source. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality
without adequate disinfection before or after this unit.
NOTE:
• “Purifi ed” means water which has been processed through the purifi er.
• “Unpurifi ed” means water straight from the water faucet.
■
Run water through the unit before use.
•
The water purifi er should be used after running the water for 7 or 8 seconds everyday.
•
If not used for more than 2 days, run for 2 or 3 minutes (12 L).
(The quality of the water inside the purifi er may have declined.)
■
Using Purifi ed Water
•
If you want to draw purifi ed water and keep it, pour the water into a clean container and close it tight. Then store it
in a refrigerator. Use the water within 2 days.
•
Do not use for fi sh tanks, etc.
(Changes in the tank environment may cause fi sh and other organisms to die.)
■
The Casing...
•
Do not run hot water (35 °C or above) through the purifi er.
(This will cause heat warping, malfunctions and the hose to burst. A burst hose is dangerous.)
•
Do not place near a gas range.
(This will cause heat warping and malfunctions.)
•
Do not use detergent, cleaner, thinner, benzine, alcohol, kerosene, etc.
(When cleaning and maintaining, etc.) (This will cause cracks and changes in color.)
•
Do not connect the hose and outlet pipe into other appliances.
(Ice maker, water boilers, etc.) (Doing so will cause water leaks or malfunctions in the purifi er or the attached appliances.)
•
Keep the unit from freezing.
(Freezing can damage the fi lter cartridge.)
