Safety Precautions
This section describes the safety precautions that must be observed in order to prevent personal injury
and/or property damage.
The levels of danger and damage that may result when the device is used incorrectly are
classied and indicated as shown below.
DANGER
Indicates high risk of serious injury or death.
WARNING
Indicates risk of serious injury or death.
CAUTION
Indicates risk of injury or property damage.

DANGER
Battery (Rechargeable lithium ion battery)
(Danger of injuries)
Do not try to ride on the main
unit, place heavy objects on it,
or apply strong impacts to it
Do not use beside flammable or burning
objects, nor do not suck them up
( Danger of explosion or fire)
Heating appliances such as heaters, cigarettes,
copier toner, kerosene, and thinners, etc.
Do not touch the rotating brush,
wheels or side brush
( Danger of injuries or burns)
Additional caution is required for children.
Do not apply adhesive tape or sticker
on the fall prevention sensors
( The main unit may drop resulting in injuries, fire, or
electric shock)
Main unit, charging base, and charging adapter
Do not mishandle
Do not use for other than MC-RSC10
Do not charge using other than the dedicated charging adapter
( Overcurrent may cause fluid leakage, overheating or explosion)
Do not dispose of the batteries in a re or expose it to heat
Do not charge, use or leave it near heating appliances such as heaters or res,
or in places with high temperatures such as in the hot sun

Lofts and corridors facing the stairwell that
have no fence for fall prevention
In entrance halls, stairways or steep slopes
In narrow areas where the main unit cannot
turn around
On top of refrigerators or similar locations that are high set
but lacking in space
