If auto focusing is difficult due to the conditions, then use manual focus.
¬ Change the mode to .
≥ Press the iA/MANUAL button to switch to manual mode (l 55)

The in-focus area is displayed in blue. The
normal screen returns approximately
2 seconds after you finish bringing the
subject into focus.
≥ When [MF ASSIST] is set to [OFF], the
blue area is not displayed.
≥ To return to auto focus, either switch to
[AF] as in step 2, or repress the iA/
MANUAL button.
≥ The blue display does not appear in the
motion picture that is actually recorded.
