rice.

not
use
the
rice
cooker
pan.

a
separate
bowl).

Rinse
the
rice
quickly
with
a
lot
of
water
and
drain
the
water
quickly
(as
rice
initially
absorbs
water
easily).

rub
the
rice
grains
together
evenly
and
quickly.

Rinse

rice
with
a
lot
of
water
and
drain
the
water.

Repeat
steps

and

until
the
water
becomes

Put
the
rinsed
rice
into
the
pan
and
add
water
to
the
appropriate
level
(level

cups
of
rice,
respectively).
Figure

shows
the
level
for
cooking
three
cups
of
white
rice.
To
measure
the
water
level
correctly,
place
the
pan
on
a
flat
surface
or
check
the
water
level
with
both
gauges
on
the
pan
at
the
same
time.

Set
the
pan
in
the
rice
cooker
and
close
the
outer
lid.
Be
sure
to
insert
the
moisture
retaining
cap.
