The extracon forces express the force necessary to extract a screw
from the wall. Here it will not be disnguished if the screw comes out
of the wall with the plug, if the screw or the masonry breaks.
The extracon forces declare how strongly screws and / or plugs can
be vercally strained. The xing material must be determined on the
basis of the mounng surface, the kind of assembly and the extrac-
on forces.
The awning has a wind resistance class 2 and must
be retracted in case the wind force is higher than 5.
The following chart explains the classes and shows the
wind speed and its eects.
Instrucons for the assembler and the user:
All the operang instrucons, assembly instrucons as well as adjust-
ment instrucons of the manufacturer of the motor, of the switcher
and of the control must be given to the user with a guide.
He must be comprehensively informed about the safety informaon
and user instrucons of the awning. Failure to observe this informa-
on and incorrect operaon may cause damage to the awning and
accidents. The instrucons must be kept and must be handed to the
new owner in case of the awning is given to a third. According to the
knowledge of the local condions and of the executed assembly, the
installaon company declares to the user if the wind resistance class
indicated by the manufacturer has been achieved in mounted con-
dion. If not, the installaon company must document the actually
achieved wind resistance class.
The user and the assembler shall be responsible for proper funco-
ning of the wind monitoring system and its regular check and funcon
monitoring. In case of storm damage occurred in spite of wind mo-
nitoring, the supplier and manufacturer of the awning do not accept
any warranty. Sensors with sun monitoring must be turned o over
the winter.
In case of improper use the risk of injury is higher:
- Instruct all the people in using the motor and the controls safely.
Please monitor the moving awning and keep away people unl the
movement is over
- Do not allow children to play with xed or remote controls.
- Please keep the hand transmier so that any undesired operaon,
e.g. by means of playing children is excluded.
- Carry out maintenance and cleaning work on the awning exclusively
in absence of voltage.
In case of permanently installed devices, in compliance with DIN VDE
0700, an energy-isolaon device for each phase must be present on
the part of the installaon.
As energy-isolang devices, switches with a contact opening width of
min. 3 mm (e.g. Miniature Circuit Breaker or Residual Current Ope-
rated Circuit-Breaker) count. Please check the installaon regularly.
In case of damage (e.g. signs of deterioraon, damaged cables, and
misplaced end posions) the system is not allowed to be used
Note for the electrician:
This awning is not allowed to be connected under voltage. Turn o
the circuit breaker in advance! The system must be secured by means
of a residual current operated circuit-breaker in compliance with VDE.
For the electrical connecon, it is allowed to use exclusively cables
and plug connecons with a protecon class of at least IP 54
Connecon & start-up:
Connect the motor according to the connecon instrucons. To pre-
vent that water penetrates the motor, the connecon cable should be
always laid downwards with a loop.
Care and maintenance:
The awning is basically maintenance-free. All aluminium parts have
a high-quality powder coang, as well as the screw connecons of
stainless steel.
No corrosion may occur to these components. We advise to clean the
cassee every 6 weeks with a damp cloth.
The awning cloth has a high-quality coang and is therefore suitable
for outside use.
If the awning cloth becomes wet by rain, nothing will happen. The
awning cloth may be rolled up wet, too. However, in this case, we
advise to roll it out again and let it dry when it does not rain anymore.
We advise for the cleaning a soluon of laundry detergent and a so
brush. You can achieve good results in case of stubborn stains also
with a rubber. Never clean by means of a high-pressure device, becau-
se it damages the waterproong.
Product features of awning coverings
We process exclusively high-quality polyester fabrics in our awnings.
The bre of the weaving yarn is spun-dyed and therefore also UV-re-
sistant (colour- and light-fast).
A renement of the surface gives the cloth water-repellent and
dirt-repellent properes. Mould formaon is this way also prevented.
Important consumer informaon:
Awning covers are high-performance products. However, limits to
their perfecon are set by environmental protecon requirements
and with the current state of technology. Certain phenomena in the
fabric, which somemes are subject of complain, are possible in spite
