Why is my Paramount Fitness Swimming Pool Cleaners system not cleaning as it used to?
    • J
      John JohnsonAug 18, 2025
If your Paramount Fitness Swimming Pool Cleaners system isn't cleaning as it used to, start by checking for a minimum operating pressure of 20 psi on the water valve. Also, check and extend the run time of your in-floor system, especially during times of increased demand due to weather or bather load. Refer to the section titled Paramount’s systems “relationship to your pool’s equipment”.

What to do if cleaning nozzles on a circuit stay up after switching in Paramount Fitness Swimming Pool Cleaners?
    • J
      Jason RiveraAug 21, 2025
If cleaning nozzles on a circuit of your Paramount Fitness Swimming Pool Cleaners stay up after the water valve switches, but retract when the system is off, it could be that a circuit in the water valve is staying open because of a jammed piston in the module, potentially caused by debris entering the water valve. Remove the module from the water valve, clean it by holding it sideways in the pool and moving it back and forth quickly until clean. If any pistons are open, push them shut without rotating them. Replace the module in the water valve and turn on the system pump to see if the nozzles now function correctly. If this doesn't solve the problem, the module may need replacing.

If an area around one nozzle of your Paramount Fitness Swimming Pool Cleaners that is going up and down isn't being cleaned, the cleaning nozzle may be partially or completely blocked. Remove the nozzle and turn on the system pump to blow out the circuit. Check the nozzle for any debris stuck inside, and then replace the nozzle.

How to fix cleaning nozzles staying up when pump is off in Paramount Fitness Swimming Pool Cleaners?

If the cleaning nozzles of your Paramount Fitness Swimming Pool Cleaners are staying up when the pump is off, they could be jammed with sand or debris, possibly due to improper cleaning of your pool filter. To resolve this, isolate the circuit of the jammed nozzles using the pause switch on your water valve. With the system pump running, repeatedly push the cleaning nozzles down with your foot or a pool pole.

Why is my Paramount Fitness Swimming Pool Cleaner water valve stuck on one circuit?
    • T
      Taylor HarrisAug 31, 2025
The Paramount Fitness Swimming Pool Cleaner water valve might be stuck on one circuit because the run/pause switch is in the pause position. The module gear mechanism could be jammed, the system could have incorrectly sized nozzles, or the system could have a plugged circuit. Ensure the run/pause switch is set to run. Remove the module from the water valve and check that the gear mechanisms turn freely, removing any debris if necessary. If it still doesn't work, replace the module. Also, check for pressure above 25 psi at the water valve. If the pressure doesn't change or changes very slowly, and if the nozzles have been removed, they may have been replaced in the wrong locations. Remove the nozzles and turn the system pump on to blow out the circuit, then replace the nozzles.

Why does the water valve stay on one circuit in Paramount Fitness Swimming Pool Cleaners?
    • J
      Jonathan MillsNov 14, 2025
If the water valve of your Paramount Fitness Swimming Pool Cleaners stays on one circuit, with one circuit of nozzles running constantly and not switching, ensure the run/pause switch is not in the pause position. Also, the module gear mechanism could be jammed, so remove the module from the water valve and check if the gear mechanisms turn freely, removing any debris if necessary. If it still doesn't work, replace the module. Check for pressure above 25 psi at the water valve. If the pressure does not change or changes very slowly (longer than 3 minutes) and if the nozzle(s) have been removed they may have been replaced in the wrong locations. Nozzle(s) are size and location specific to your system. Remove nozzle(s) and turn the system pump on to blow out the circuit. Replace Nozzle(s). A...
