Intended purpose
The cordless garden pruner is designed
only for sawing wood. This garden pruner
is not suitable for felling trees. The
device
is not intended for any other types of ap-
plication (e.g. cutting masonry, plastic or
food). Using the garden pruner for work
other than that for which it is intended may
result in serious injury to the user or other
persons.
The device is part of the Parkside
X12VTEAM series and can be oper-
ated using Parkside X12VTEAM series
batteries. The batteries may only be
charged using chargers from the Parkside
X12VTEAM series.
The garden pruner is designed for employ-
ment in the do-it-yourselfer sector. It was
not designed for continuous employment in
the commercial sector.
The device is designed for use by adults.
Young people over 16 years old may use
the chainsaw under supervision only.
The manufacturer is not liable for dam-
ages, which were caused through use in
applications for which it was not designed,
or incorrect operation.
The cordless garden pruner may only be
used by one person and for sawing wood.
The garden pruner must be held with the
right hand on the handgrip and the left
hand on the grip surface. Before using the
garden pruner, the user must read and un-
derstand all information and instructions in
the instruction manual. The user must wear
appropriate personal protective equipment
(PPE). Only wood may be sawed with the
garden pruner. Materials such as plastic,
rock, metal or wood containing foreign
bodies (e.g. nails or screws) must not be
processed!

Carefully unpack the appliance and check
that it is complete:

• Chain bar (guide rail) (already
mounted)
• Saw chain (already mounted)
• Saw bar protection sheath
• Oil bottle with 50ml bio chain oil

The rechargeable batteries and the
charger are not included in deliv-
ery.
Dispose of the packaging material cor-
rectly.
Function description
The cordless garden pruner is equipped
with a chain quick-tensioning system. The
circulating saw chain is guided over a
blade bar (guide rail). The device is pro-
vided with various protective devices to
protect the user.
