Soldering sponge
ATTENTION!
► The hot soldering tipq must never come into
contact with a dry soldering sponge2.
Otherwise, the soldering sponge2 could be
damaged.
NOTE
► The soldering sponge2 is used to clean the
soldering tipq.
► Dampen the soldering sponge2 before use.
Soldering
Vapours can lead to headaches
and fatigue if inhaled.
■ Thanks to its design, it is especially suitable for
hard-to-reach areas and fine soldering work.
♦ Clean the soldering tipq on the wet soldering
sponge2.
♦ After cleaning, the soldering tipq must be
tinned. Tin the hot soldering tipq by melting
some solderw.
♦ Direct the soldering tipq to the soldering loca-
tion and heat it.
♦ Place the solderw between the soldering loca-
tion and soldering tipq to melt it.
♦ Keep feeding solderw until the entire solder
joint is covered.
♦ Then withdraw the soldering tipq immediately
to prevent the molten solder from overheating.
♦ Allow the solder to harden and avoid any
knocks or vibrations.
NOTE
► The flux is either included in the solder or
applied separately. When you buy the solder,
ask about the kind of applications it is suitable
for and the appropriate flux.
