Switching on
1. Push and hold the switch-on lock 1.
2. Push and hold the on/o switch 8 to
start the tool.
Warning! Observe the following
work instructions.
Switching o
Release both switch-on lock 1 and on/
o switch 8 to turn o the hedge trim-
mer.
Note: The motor stops operating if one
of the switches is released.
Cutting techniques
Hold the hedge trimmer at an angle of
5°–10° to the hedge.
Cut the hedge from bottom to top, sides
first.
Cut the top in an oscillating movement,
advancing slowly.

Warning! Hold the hedge trimmer firmly with both hands! Ensure that the cutting bar
does not touch any objects or the ground and that there are no people or animals in
the vicinity before starting! Risk of injury!
