PDL-AFP/AZP Instruction Manual

Install Motor

Install the motor on the 15mm rod and ensure the motor gear matches the lens gear. Use camera hot shoe clamp for DSLR lenses.

Turn on Bluetooth Controller and Motor

Press the ON/OFF button for three seconds until the indicator light powers on. Motor turns on automatically when battery is inserted.

Bluetooth Connection

Indicator lights flash quickly for 60 seconds during search. Controller light stays on upon successful connection.

Calibration

Press ON/OFF once, then hold until motor rotates. Press and hold motor button for three seconds until motor rotates.

Manually Calibration

Connect gears, turn lens to start/end points, then center. Recommended for DSLR camera lenses.

Charging Instructions

Use provided charger to activate battery. Insert battery into corresponding slot to start charging.

Remote Air App Control

App Setup and Connection Steps

Download app, turn on motor, initiate phone Bluetooth, then turn on APP for automatic connection.

Ensure handle is off, press ON/OFF and FOCUS buttons, then hold ON/OFF to refresh Bluetooth.

Important Notices and Warnings

Emergency Stop and Motor Speed Adjustment

Press CALIBRATION/RESET for emergency stop. Adjust motor speed (slow, medium, fast) by clicking ON/OFF button five times.

Calibration Issues and A-B Point Setting

Check controller light for calibration issues. White blinking light means A-B point set; press ON/OFF to cancel.

Battery Maintenance Recommendations

Check battery monthly. Avoid low power for long periods and overcharging to preserve battery capacity. Keep charge at 50-74%.
