8.5. Installation of the Software
NOTE:
Please install the supplied software, including all USB drivers before connecting the PeakTech 1220 with your PC.
Installing the software
1.) The installation of supplied software is required for operation of the PeakTech 1220 DMM / oscilloscope in
conjunction with a PC.
2.) A method as described to install the software and the USB driver:
3.) Start Windows version XP / Vista / 7/8/10
4.) Insert supplied CD-ROM into your CD / DVD-ROM drive
5.) Double-click "My Computer" on your Windows desktop.
6.) Double-click the icon for your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive to the CD contents display
7.) Double-click on "SETUP.EXE"
8.) Installation according to the screen instructions to perform until it is completed.
9.) Now connect the PeakTech 1220 with a USB port on your PC
10.) Windows will detect the new hardware and signals that the USB drivers will be installed now.
11.) You can find the USB driver of the device in the installation directory of the installed software in Step 3
12.) After the USB drivers are installed, the software can be started DS_WAVE. On the Windows start menu shortcuts
were created during software installations, with which you start the software, how can uninstall.
