Under no circumstances exceed the maximum permissible input
values (serious risk of injury and / or destruction of the device)
Never operate the device unless it is completely closed.
For all measuring devices, defective fuses must only be replaced
with a fuse that corresponds to the original value. Never short-circuit
the fuse or fuse holder.
Before switching to another function, please remove all test leads
from the measuring circuit.
Check device, test leads and other accessories for damage or bare
or kinked cables and wires before commissioning. In case of doubt,
do not take any measurements.
Only carry out measuring work in electrical systems in dry clothing,
preferably in rubber shoes or on an insulating mat.
Do not touch the measuring tips of the connected test leads.
It is essential to observe warnings on the device.
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight,
extreme humidity or moisture.
Avoid strong vibration.
Do not operate the device near strong magnetic fields (motors,
transformers, etc.)
Keep hot soldering guns away from the immediate vicinity of the
device
Before starting the measuring operation, the device should be
stabilized to the ambient temperature (important when transporting
from cold to warm rooms and vice versa)
Avoid formation of condensation or dripping water on electrical test
equipment under all circumstances.
Measure voltages above 35V DC or 25V AC only in accordance with
relevant safety regulations. At higher voltages, particularly
dangerous electric shocks may occur.
Lack of battery power can cause inaccurate readings. Electric
shocks and physical injuries can be the result.
If you are not going to use the device for a long time, remove the
battery from the battery compartment.
Periodically clean the case with a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
Do not use corrosive abrasives.
This gauge has no separate protection against spray and jets of
water and is therefore only suitable for use in a dry environment.
Avoid any proximity to explosive and flammable materials.
