Old strings can produce dull, buzzing or dead notes, but a new set
of strings will ring clear and true. If you play often, you will need
to change your strings often. A good rule of thumb is that if you
play daily, you should change strings every two to three weeks.
Replace your strings as you notice them becoming dirty or discol-
ored, before you experience a disappointing loss of performance.
