CONTROLS:
Volume Control: Controls the signal level delivered
from the pickup to the output jack, Rotaling the con¬
trol clockwise will jnctease volume. Rotating thecort-
iroi counterclockwise will decrease volume.
PICKUP ADJUSTMENT:
The hetg hi of the pickup may be adjusted by lu rn I ng
the height adjusting screws on the pickup trim ring.
Turning the screws clockwise will raise the pickup.
Turning the screws counterclockwise will lower the
pickup
NOTE:
CARE MUSTBE TAKEN TOMAINTAIN ADEQUATE
CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE PICKUPS AND
STRINGS. INADEQUATE CLEARANCE WILL RE-
SULT IN LOSS OF SUSTAIN AND POSSIBLE
STRING BUZZING WHEN PLAYING ON THE
UPPER PRETS.MINIMUMRECOMMENDED CLEAR¬
ANCE IS Vr (.125").
When adjusting pickup height, care should be taken to
ensure that the top aurface of the pickup is parallel to the
string plane. Improper adjustment can cause reduced
pickup output and reduced hum cancellaiior^.
The twelve individual pole piece screws on the pickup
altow critical pickup adjustmeni for each string. Raising
or lowering screws closest to the bridge will increase or
decrease treble sensitivity. Raising or lowering screws
closest to the neck will increase or decrease low end
sensIlivUy,
