Adjusting
Torsion
Rod:
Alt
guitar
necks
must
have
a
slight
amount
of
bow
lo
keep
the
strings
from
buzzing
on
the
frets.
To
set
the
'straightness''
of
the
neck,
a
Peavey
torsion
rod
wrench
No.
750S1006
must
be
used
(available
from
a
Peavey
Accessory
Center).

Tuns
the
instrument
to
standard
(A-440)
pitch.

Fret
the
sixth
slnng
(E)
at
the
first
and
last
frets.

Check
for
clearance
between
the
string
and
the
eighth
fret.

Clearance
should
be
no
less

no

To
increase

loosen
(counterclockwise)

rod

conjunction
with
the
bridge
height
adjustment
to

the
overall
string
playing
height

the

adjustment.

Bridge
Angle
Adjuslment:
The
angle
of
the
tremolo
bridge
is
set
by
the
screws
holding
the
spnr^g
claw
m
place.
To
gain
access
to
the
spring
claw
and
spring
claw
screws,
remove
the
spring
cover
or
the
back
of
the
guitar.
Turn
the
tension
screws
clockwise
to
decrease
the
bridge
angle.
Turn
the
tension
screws
counterclockwise
to
increase
the
bridge
angle.
The
rscommended
bridge
angle,
measured
from
the
surface
of
the
body,
is
to
8®.
Bridge
Height
Adjustment:
Bridge

may
be
adjusted
by
means
of
the
bridge
pivot
bolts.
Turn
